Kali is alive and well in my course...

Dear all, it appears our beloved Mr Kali is making his presence very much felt in my course this semester.

Advanced Ecology

My lecturer, Prof Susan, was responding to wrong answers given in class the other day. For instance...

Prof: What common fruit tree is related to the legume family?
Student: Guava.
Prof: Guava?! I will guava you!

Marine Ecosystems

Prof Chong, who is also the Ecology & Biodiversity division coordinator, was addressing problems some students had with registering courses (i.e. subjects) for this semester and the issue of clashing timetables.

Prof: Ornithology... actually you can take it next semester. But wait, better you take it this semester. You won't know if it's being offered next semester.

Ecology of Tropical Rainforests

We will be doing field work in three places:

i) Klang Gates Ridge
ii) Gunung Ulu Kali (Genting Highlands thereabouts)
iii) FRIM
