Hello all, because the school holidays just started, it is unwise to proceed with the original plan of having a road trip to Ipoh we will most probably end up squashed among the throng of people. So, if it it possible, why not we divert our attention to somewhere nearer instead.
The few options suggested are as listed:
1) Broga hill - somewhere near Semenyih town, a short distance from Nottingham University Malaysian Campus. The trip involves a short hike uphill to a beautiful scenery and also picnic maybe? or we can even bring our BBQ set anyhow it is a free for all trip after the hike up we can have lunch (If picnic lunch is not preferred).
Things to bring :- towel, spare clothes, water, camera.
2) Kuala Selangor - It is located 1 hour from KL, we can have our lunch at one of the many restaurants there, and also for those who fish, please bring along your fishing equipments because fishing is allowed. Also after lunch there are some interesting activities to be done such as visiting the famous lighthouse on top of the hill of kuala selangor, there we can have some photography session and also some monkey feeding session as there are plenty of monkey to go round. At night we can watch fireflies at the river banks kuala selangor is famous for that by the way.
Things to bring :- fishing equipments (optional), and your stomach.
