It’s our blog’s first anniversary!!! Happy Anniversary everyone!!!
About a month ago, I was having a chat with Melody and thus the idea for this post was born!
We were reflecting the various differences in the members of this class…. We have people speaking various languages (English, Mandarin, Cantonese), different interests (shopping, cooking, photography, sleeping, reading tan yin toon, etc.), a variety of shapes and sizes (I rather not give examples for this one hehe) and abundance of characteristics (blur, sarcastic, bossy, quiet, noisy, and so on)
*to those whose description applies, you know who you are :D
Yet within the first few months of sitting in the same class together, the ‘bonds’ were firmly formed…. Like covalent bonds. The question was… why? Perhaps because most of us were not previously from VI and therefore we stuck together because there’s strength in numbers? This is especially true for the girls in an all boys school… and we group together to withstand kali’s attacks?
Then again was it because we spent every moment with each other? As far as I can remember, every moment in VI is spent with BFians… Furthermore, we always had free time (especially a certain subject which I am not sure if we ever had a teacher). Maybe it was these periods of time where the bonds were further strengthen?
That took us to the recess times… there was once I said to someone (can’t remember who) as I watched those coming back from recess in the canteen, ‘in our class, any combination of our class members walking together is not weird’. This is different from my form 4 and 5 years when there was very strict cliques… people always moved in their own groups which only consists of about 5 people.
Anyway back to recess times, perhaps the greatest tool that unites us all is…. As simple as it is…. FOOD! Think back, remember sharing food in class? Trading food? Remember those lunches in Petaling Street? Durian Puffs? Our pot luck for Tsu Wern and Jino’s birthday? Like typical Malaysians, our conversation floated to food quite frequently. Even our trips seem food based! Melaka and the up coming Penang trip are famous for food above everything else!
Once again, Happy Anniversary everyone!!! Keep the bonds strong!
Love,
Valerie

wah... even i am also very much impressed by this post.. really cant halt myself from giving compliment to this post (u know la, i seldom praise ppl one).. well done!! in conjunction with the bf blog anniversary, i wish the bonds of BF will remains as strong as carbon bond in the diamond(do u know diamond tend to change into a more stable form, graphite which is the led of the pencil??)..
-a person that u may never forget, cch-
Wahlau.
Memang terbukti you Kali's son.For a moment I thought I was hearing Kali's voice through the wall. :P You remembered the fact exactly as he said it! Well done! kaka
Diamond will not change to graphite because graphite is only thermally more stable then diamond but diamond is structurally more stable then graphite....
